BIO
Guney Ozsan was born in 1981. He started playing piano after primary school. He studied "Industrial Engineering" in "Bilkent University - Ankara" with full scholarship. After graduation in 2003 he entered "Composition and Theory Department" in "Bilkent University - Music and Performing Arts Faculty". He studied composition with Mahir Cetiz for three years and now he is studying composition with Turgut Pogun and counterpoint with Bujor Hoinic.

He is also doing his M.S degree in "Industrial Engineering" at the "Middle East Technical University".


PRODUCTION
Guney Ozsan and Cagil Seker initiated the music production company, Soyut-Lama Media Productions, in 2007. They cover most production issues including the creative processes under the brand Post-Illusions Production House, which concentrates on post recording sessions such as mixing and mastering.

DREAMTONE & IRIS MAVRAKI'S NEVERLAND



Guney Ozsan is the keyboard player of "Dreamtone & Iris Mavraki's NEVERLAND".

Dreamtone & Iris Mavraki's NEVERLAND is the collaboration between Turkiye's progressive power metal band Dreamtone and Greek artist Iris Mavraki. Their debut album Reversing Time, which features guest appearances of Hansi Kürsch, Tom Englund, Mike Baker and Gary Wehrkamp, near to Philarmonia Istanbul Orchestra, is released from AFM records in Feb 2008.

SIDE PROJECTS

He is also playing the keyboards of Zakkum as a guest musician.

Zakkum is a glam and Brit-pop oriented rock band. They've just released their first album Zehr-i Zakkum on January 2007! Since they started working together in the very last stages of the album preparation, Guney Ozsan didn't arrange and play the keyboards in the album.

Guney Ozsan recently released a dubmix of the Zakkkum song Hipokondriyak. Since the song is very suitable for some obsessive moods the dubmix cathces the style of trance. You can download the track for free:

For a couple of years he practiced jazz wih Janusz Szprot and in 2004 participated in Bilkent Jazz Ensemble directed by Janusz Szprot.

Now he is working on a project called Caz Klinik (Jazz Clinic). It is a project that is intended to be somewhere around avant-garde jazz and nu-jazz. Caz Klinik is Guney Ozsan ..board, Mustafa Kaya on bass and Cagil Seker on guitar.
