A five-piece band made up of four childhood friends from Hoboken NJ, and the final piece by way of Ocean Township, NJ, Ground To Machine are an explosively tasteful blow of intelligent post-(insert genre here) music. With dual guitars ready to scream out of wonderfully crafted harmonies at any given moment, a rhythm section that can have you dancing, then breaking your neck within a minute of a song, and powerful, yet angelic female vocals that soar, spin, and spill in and out of the music, Ground To Machine have uniquely blended the cries of many a genre of music. And even though they have only been a  band for a little over a year and eight months, the band is quickly making a name for itself through its in your face, sweat inducing live shows, recording four EP's in a year, and their strong bond with their fans of all ages.

Although many new bands have gone the throw-your-favorite-cd's-in-a-blender, hit-shred-then-serve-your-friends route, the band have managed to create a sound that is distinctively their own. As powerful as it is gentle, as mad-scientist as it is smart, as progressive as it is straightforward, as heavy as it is light, the sound is like warm, toasty eggnog on a cold, festive night with the family. At first sip you're lokced in with its full, rich milky taste, and the rum provides that biter, yet subtle dark side. By the end of the first cup you're feeling the groove in your stomach and are even talking to cousins that you normally wouldn't talk to. A few more cups, and you've just been knocked on your ass, and by morning, you're addicted. This together with emotionally charged lyrics by singer/writer Kiirstin and drummer/co-writer Eddie that range from imagery drenched concepts of reality driven events, to how they perceive themselves in the modern world we live in, provides for an awesome listening experience. This is music stripped of a scene world. This is music that reminds us that ther are still bands out ther that live and breathe for a chance to be onstage for the right reasons. This is music in its honest form with a story wrapped around every note, every chord, every beat, every word, and every song. This is Ground To Machine.
