Imagine Mr Scruff drinking cups of tea with The Chemical Brothers whilst babysitting DJ Yoda and you might start to come close to the sounds infused by Grinny Grandad. Based on the 'scissors and string' mind of Chris 'Mo' Morton, this guy fuses surreal references with old school record-crate creativity and comes out of it with an infectious brand of subterranean electro, funk-pop that makes you feel good deep down inside.
