Grimus drew a lot of attention right from the beginning of their career, back in 2005, due to the inclusion of various “circus” elements in their stage act. However, great showmanship is also backed by serious musicianship! As a result of winning the national finals of the “Global Battle of the Bands” (“Best New Romanian Act” Award) and their presence in the world finals held in London, they secured a record deal with legendary italian indie label “Cramps Records” (home of John Cage, Area, Demetrio Stratos). Debut album is due out around the 1st of October, 2008.

Songs : Solitude was voted song of the year 2006 on City FM, Romania’s only rock FM station, In A Glimpse was second best song of the year 2007 on City FM and also made it to no.1 on the Flammish National Radio in Belgium. Songs of the band were aired in countries as diverse as Sweden, Brazil, Japan, UK.
