I am a singer/songwriter, searching for that great song that every songwriter dreams of writing. My music is a mix of all the music I've heard growing up in Chicago and influenced by my time living in NY. It's hard to compare my music to any one artist but I like to say its the kind of music that has melodies that people remember after listening to it only once.

“I got the impression from activity and conversations around the bar that most of the performers were regulars. The host asked someone whose name I thought was Grady to entertain from his position at the bar as it was taking longer than usual to setup between performances. Grady began to recite an ode from memory that was indeed entertaining. The host finished setting up before Grady finished the ode. Grady performed later, but sang instead of finishing the ode. His singing, guitar playing, and songs were quite enjoyable, so I could not complain about the unfinished ode.
As luck would have it, I learned last night while visiting the open mic at Grafton that Grady is really Grey, Grey Jimenez. I recognized him and one of his songs. I asked him about the ode and he told me it was a Shel Silverstein poem. Just last week Grey uploaded some videos to Youtube. No poem recital though. Here’s the link - The Grey Videos.”
