Christian Gibbs homecoming show! Welcome Mr. Gibbs back to San Diego. Christian likes to remind me that I threw him out of my band when we were kids just out of High School. But he has no need to bust by chops over that, because his successful solo carreer has been his truest and sweetest revenge. He has put out many records as a signed artist to both major and indie labels. And now he is bringing it all home. Come help us give him a warm welcome. Plus, you have grampadrew to simultaneously lower and raise your spirits. Come get your mood swing on with grampadrew and the gut strings! Who knows, maybe Christian and I will punch each other onstage for old-time sake. Oh wait. That was the guy who threw ME out a few weeks after Christian.
The last time grampadrew played with the Paperplanes he ripped off his shirt during the last song of the night. He'll try to keep his clothes on for this one (probably best for everyone), but he'll still be as fired up as a shirtless hillbilly at a cock-fight. Bar Eleven is re-opening as The Void, so come on out on February 7th and see what all the fuss is about.
Festivus, for the rest of us! The airing of grievances! The Festivus Pole! Feats of strength! Music! (Okay, mostly music). But what great music we have. Gary Hankins of bands such as Scarlet Symphony, UV Tigers and Shapes of Future Frames. Shawn Rohlf of 7th Day Buskers and Gully. And finishing the night off, grampadrew backed by Erin Browder on cello, and Christopher Hoffee on keys. This will be a special one.

Bio: INsite Magazine described grampadrew as "An acoustic balladeer who sings direct, honest music delivered alternatively with the fire of a street preacher or the quiet of a gravedigger"
