“Friday evening. D.anna, Goodbye January, Stifled & Funk Ronin : A Fundraiser for Dan Stevenson. I do not know Dan Stevenson. Of course to know is not a prerequisite to help. Many there do. (Odd man out.) Kind words aplenty. It was a welcome change, knowing. To see whom is helped. As an American Red Cross blood donor one never knows. Blood is drawn, then stored. They say, "up to three lives may be saved". You never know. Deanna DeLuca stepped up first, albeit briefly. Loved her voice. Next, Stifled. Instruments beaten. Rowdy riffs. Free albums, You Know Better E.P. Goodbye January followed. Lead singer and guitarist Demetrius Donahue met Mister Stevenson when they were in high school. The face of love when he spoke about his friend. Retro sound. Reminiscent of the bands I listened to in high school. Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog. Some of Donahue's movements reminded of Scott Weiland. About to shout, "Play Plush!". Demetrius Donahue encouraged all to give Dan Stevenson a hug”
“Never boring when Goodbye January is here and alive in the studio downstairs! Love hearing the band”
