Q: who is your greatest inspiration to write music

A: Great Question! My parents were musicians and they gave me the music from an early age. All genres of music filled my house so I have eclectic tastes and influences. From John Lennon, to Jay-z to Jack White, Foo Fighters, Bowie, Lucinda Williams, Joplin, Hendrix, Debussy...they all inspire and drive me. I can't stop writing, I love it. Started writing music when I was five and never stopped. I'm driven by everything around me, all my experiences and the artists I hear everyday. The inspiration just comes to me sometimes from a simple everyday occurrence. Something someone says in passing, a poignant moment during a conversation with a friend, or an epic travel adventure. Inspiration for me, is everywhere! Thanks so much for listening and the thoughtful question! xo- Ghezzi
