About
Garrison has been active in the music and recording industry for decades. He handled production for such artists as the roots-rock Austin, Texas band Greezy Wheels and chart-topping singer-songwriter Leslie Pearl. Nephew of the noted late jazz and big band drummer Howie Mann, Garrison produced legendary jazz pianist Erroll Garner on the London label. As A&R Director, Producer and Director of Recording Studio Operations for London Records, Inc., he has been associated in various capacities with the music of The Moody Blues, Dave Edmunds, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, John Mayall, Al Green and others. As a performer, Garrison has heated up some of New York City's hottest music spots including CBGB's, DownTime, The C Note and Acme Underground as well as Toad's Place in New Haven, CT, one of the premier music halls in the country, and Nashville's renowned Bluebird Cafe.
