“One of the original emcees helping put hip hop culture into the 515, Gadema has been doing shows and recording albums since 1999. Releases include 2005s “The Fool in Black”, 2006s “PRONTO!” mixtape, 2009s “JK Savage” and “The Jim Kelly Acquisition” (Central-Standard records), and most recently for 2011: the 8 song “One Deep” EP. Gadema has been praised for ‘not sounding like any other emcee/ rapper’, though some ‘likenesses’ in voice, delivery and heavy lyricism include KRS-ONE, Scarface, Chali 2na and Xzibit (proclaimed by the listeners). Hes done countless shows throughout the years, sharing the stage with highly praised emcees such as Immortal Technique, Ghostface Killah, Brother Ali, Atmosphere, and Jedi Mind Tricks, to name a few….”
