Featuring international steampunk/cabaret duo Frenchy and the Punk and burlesque performers TBA Mark your calendar & save the date! Thursday November 6 Elysium Austin + + + + Special Early Show + + + + Doors @ 8pm, Show @ 9pm Hosted by DJ Argo More details and ticket sales coming soon! Steampunk, gothic, or punk attire encouraged. Please note that this is an 18+ event. New York's finest Cabaret Folk Punk Duo is hitting the road again, this time for their 4th full length CD, 'Bonjour Batfrog', 'a rocking combination of attitude and whimsy." The new albums 11 songs are full of stripped-down DIY energy, tribal rhythms, and earthy drama, a melding of ancient archetypes with scrappy street-level attitude, a lively must-have for punks, hippies, and everyone in between. "They're sort of the Captain & Tennille of folk-punk, with a strong cabaret undercurrent like that of the Dresden Dolls going all Gogol Bordello. As the name suggests, Frenchy and the Punk come from very different backgrounds, but they're united in the passionate intensity of their performances." The Tour has already taken them to Scotland, Wales and England now it's the US's turn. The dynamic duo will be hitting 20 cities in October and November including the belly dance festival, Waking Pershephone in Seattle, The Clockwork Cabaret in Austin, TX as well as shows in Atlanta, Portland and New Orleans.
