FreeWiL was born when an artist William Scott, took his destiny into his own hands. Freeing himself from "The Industry" and producers who didn't have the will to be successful or the focus to see his vision become reality. So with a prayer, determination and God given talent, straight from the streets of Motown, William Scott became a music producer by his own "FreeWiL." With 15 years in the biz he brings with him a phenomenal vocal ability, a well rounded and extremely diverse musical sense and inspiration from some of the greatest producers who ever banged out a beat such as, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Timbaland, RZA, Dr. Dre, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, The Neptunes, Rodney Jerkins and many more! FreeWiL is influenced by a variety of musical styles including jazz, soul, r&b, hip hop, rock and pop. He likes it all. He has worked with a variety of industry professionals and has achieved song placements with film companies and major label artists.
