“Rootsy, freewheeling Americana is the name of the game for the Free Range Roosters, a collective of blues- and bluegrass-loving musicians from around Tampa Bay. With an eclectic array of guitars, fiddles, harmonicas and mandolins, the group cites influences like Dylan, Waits and Cash. "Folk with attitude," they call it. They came together through shared musical tastes, especially through jams at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, during festivals like Suwannee Springfest and Magnolia Project. They still play in a lot of open jams around Tampa Bay.”
