About
Four Temperaments, current holders of a prestigious Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music, established their ensemble in September 2005 and in June 2006 they won the RAM Friends Prize for Early Music.
Representing four different nations (Finland, Great Britain, Hungary and Poland) the quartet performs both throughout the UK and abroad and has played in many festivals such as the London Handel Festival and the Festival de Saintes, France.
The quartet benefitted from coaching with Historical Performance specialists including Lisa Besnoziuk, Laurence Cummings, James Johnstone, Nicolette Moonen and Jenny Ward-Clarke.

Previously known as Donum Musicum, Four Temperaments perform on period instruments.
