Bio
Fóssil was created in 2004 in the city of Fortaleza, Ceara Estate, Brazil. Having released an Ep, Desconforto, in 2004 and a single,Walkmachine (part of their debut release) in 2006 they waited another three years to release their full debut release which has attracted Brazilian audiences from North to South.

Talks and experience and constant music dialog took such a path that the group developed it’s songs with a different structure and musical intent. Sound vibes and landscapes are created through experiments with sound effects and exploration of surroundings and dynamics and free impro. For it’s compositions, the band looks for references in soundtracks, Brazilian music and most importantly in several variations of contemporary music. In 2008 the group reaches its summit with the newest work called: Insônia – La movimentacion musicale intermezzo minimal, that set their name on the music scene with constant touring activity. Textures and harmonic progressions and vibes give room to the listener to realize the idea behind Fossil: musical density within few notes.

O quarteto chega ao ápice com seu mais novo trabalho, intitulado: Insônia – La movimentacion musicale intermezzo minimal, agora com o lançamento via selo londrino Curve Music (UK). Colocando o grupo como um dos grandes nomes musicais em constante atividade no cenário nacional. A sonoridade inusitada levou o Fóssil a realizar um amplo trabalho de divulgação de sua música em shows, festivais do atual panorama da música independente nacional, galerias de arte, centros culturais de capitais e interiores de cidades brasileiras.
