Folkstorm is a metal band from the Netherlands, formed in January 2009 by Ruben. In the beginning the music was pure ambient, but soon metal influences came in, and the sound became darker. The result of this is the ''From the Pale Woodlands'' demo, which can be discribed as Atmospheric Pagan Metal. The demo was released on tape by Darkness Shade Records in June 2009.
