Fort Hood Rock the Hood Concert Also performing: Puddle of Mudd, Nas, Chris Cagle, 7 Years Today,and Lance Wade Thomas. On this day we will celebrate, recognize and appreciate the resiliency and strength that our fallen Soldiers, veterans, retirees, Family Members and the supporting community have exerted in honor of our nation. We will pay tribute to the 13 heroes lost and those wounded on November 5, 2009 and reflect on the ultimate sacrifice that over 550 Soldiers have made over the seven years of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.
