“FINGER ELEVEN EARNS 2011 JUNO AWARDS NOMINATION
February 2, 2010 (Toronto, ON) – One of Canada’s most recognized rock bands, Finger Eleven was announced today as a 2011 JUNO Awards nominee. Currently on tour supporting their most recent album, Life Turns Electric, Finger Eleven has earned a nomination for Rock Album of the Year. Winners will be announced in Toronto as the JUNO Awards celebrate their 40th anniversary on March 27, 2011.
Following a win in 2008 in the same category, this nomination celebrates the bands first hand at self-producing. Life Turns Electric is the result of five incredibly determined musicians destined to create an album that captured the spirit of classic rock. And that is exactly what happened. Climbing the Canadian rock charts to number 1 with their first two singles, “Living In A Dream” and “Whatever Doesn’t Kill Me,” Finger Eleven has proven that they are a band who has everything required to succeed in today’s music industry. ”
