The duo “FERG & COMTEY'' began as a side project for one member of the highly successful Seymour band “We're Undecided”, and a well respected guitarist from Seymour.

 

Tony Ferguson from the band and Peter Comte, decided to form a duo that provided the band experience at a fraction of the cost, and with all the quality of a live band. During 2004, they mixed midi files with live instruments to provide a full band sound. This, mixed with the live guitars and vocals, has become their trademark at live venues across the state.

 

Tony has been playing for the past 26 years, and in that time has gained a wealth of experience from such bands as We're Undecided, Point Blank, Crossroads, Buckshot, Steel Crazy, and Scandal. His unique ability to adapt to any style of vocals has made him one of the in-demand singers around the district. He has become an accomplished musician, with the ability to play a  numbers of instruments including, guitar, bass guitar, and drums. He can perform in any context and to any crowd, from the teen set, to the oldies, and everybody in between. His performing highlights so far, include playing with Nick Barker of Nick Barker and the Reptiles fame, as well as supporting band such as Mental As Anything, BABBA, Ross Wilson, Jenny Morris, Renee Geyer, Nick Barker & The Reptiles, Cotton Keays & Morris,& Mighty OZ Rock just to name a few. 

 

Peter has been playing guitar, for the past 10 years. In that time he has become highly respected and sought after by local musicians. He lends a hand with backing vocals, and can also play the harmonica , key boards, and bohdran. Peter has a huge stage presence with an outgoing, lively personality. He has had cameos with the highly successful band We're Undecided from Seymour, Security and Melbourne bands, Hercules,  and Hammer Axe.
