“By far one of the most impressive freshman albums I have encountered in my lifetime and I feel honored to have witnessed this project manifest from inception! From lyrics, to beat selection, recording and engineering, content and subject matter, marketing, connectivity, and business...this is an all around template for artists to study and employ and an undeniable work of art that anyone in the family can and will enjoy! Check it out when you have a chance www.reverbnation.com/fayah I LOVE U KOREA! :) "The gentleman who is standing next to Serena is a rental agent at Alamo but he is also a musician. He works two jobs!! From his hair style to his talent he is just over flowing with originality. When i first saw him and when he danced oppa kangnam style I knew he was not normal. Then he gave me his business card. At first i thought he was an amature singer so i did not hold any high expectations when i logged on to his page but...wow! His music exceeded my expectations. While posting about my hawaii trip online i listened to his music to bring back the feel of my vacation. If you log on to www.reverbnation.com/fayah you can enjoy his music there~ (sorry i dont remember his name)”
"Another surprisingly submission is that of Fayah, an emcee from the tropical region of Hawaii. I know the first thing you think of in Hawaii are plenty of fly Vahine’s, delicious grinds and beautiful beaches, but seriously, how many of you (our readers), ever payed much attention to the musical side of things. Of course, I am talking outside the very familiar acoustic-hawaiian rhythm’s??? Anybody?? Maybe a YouTube view here and there? Probably a few of you, but like I recently posted, Maui Cyphers Sesh Video, I too have been a bit put off by the music coming from fellow islanders. Because I always seem to assume they are playing their Ukelele by the camp fire on the beach, feeling irie. NOT NO MORE! Fayah and his, Deep West Crew, are the ocean breeze that ALL islanders experience on a hot day on the beach. They are much needed and appreciated!"
“I have seen both of you grow in your stage presence and confidence at Moose McGillycuddy's, your music selection is amazing and yet very unique with Tulei on Ukulele or acoustics and Lanika's smooth, graceful and beautiful voice. I give you both credit, since being married, children and working together sometimes can be challenging and yet your performances seem to get better. All the best now and in the future. ”
