Fate Forsaken is a metal band from Calgary, Canada. It consists of Luke de Wolf on guitar and Curtis Muller on bass. They are both on vocals, with Luke handling the lower range and heavy screaming, while Curt handles the higher range. Jill Bell was in the group for a brief period between November of 2007 and January of 2008 as rhythm guitarist, as was Michael Hanson on drums between March and May of 08. The group was formed in September of 2007 by Luke and Curt, under the name Journey from the Grave. Journey from the Grave gradually wore off as the style changed, and Fate Forsaken was adopted by the band in December of 2007. There are many influences that have affected the style of the music, and the resulting sound is something along the lines of epic melodic power metal. One goal of the band is to record a demo album in the near future.
