Farris hails from somewhere between Farris, Texas and Paris, France. Like a butterfly collector with a net over many miles, a myriad of molecules, smiles, and maybe one tear, conflicting yet interlocking influences have given rise to what is Farris. Singer songwriter Kathleen Farris has worked with a number of quite fantastic musicians including the very talented guitarist Craig Bradley, piano player extraordinaire Mark Bower, drummer fantasmo Jim Conversano, and the calm and cool bassist Mike Raso.  Farris's newest direction is with producer and multi-instrumentalist Camden Chamberlain of Cavedoll (www.myspace.com/cavedollband) who helped create the new alt. rock sound of Farris.  This traveling band picks berries from the tree of life's many colors and constantly changes with the scenery.  In Utah, Farris has the great fortune of working with Chris Cambron on guitar, Ray Rosales on bass, Adam Holladay on keys, and Santiago Alonso on drums.

The first album release, WE ARE CREATURES is expected in 2009.
