As a believer (= fan) in Sellaband it only seemed logical to follow the bands I believe in to Reverbnation.

Sellaband is a site where unsigned artists can sign up in order to seek fans who can pre-buy an album for $ 10.-. Once the band reached the target of $ 50,000.- they can get their album recorded. It seems like the target amount is pretty high but there is more to it than just recording an album! More and better information for both bands and fans can be found on the site itself.

One of the bands who already reached the target to record their album is prog rock band AIOIA. I had the pleasure to actually meet Alex Vicq, the lyrics writer, in Amsterdam last summer and my first impresson of the band as a whole was absolutely justified.
