“They kicked off the show with a set staple and fan favorite, “Japanese Robot Girl”. Lead singer and guitar player, Dr. Ugs, wasted no time in engaging himself in dancing with the microphone, swaying along to punk hooks. They also debut a couple covers I’d never heard them do before, both extrextremely fitting for The Starlets’ brand of sultry dance-rock: the Rocky Horror Picture Show’s centerpiece, “Sweet Transvestite”, and a wonderful rendition of “Get it While You Can” (the version made popular by Janis Joplin). I’d like to point out that I respect The Fallen Starlets for always putting on a better show than virtually every band around here. The chemistry between Diemos (vocals, guitar) and Dr. Ugs was as strong as ever, almost fighting each other as brothers would to sing through the same microphone.”
