The Exception is a five piece band that plays fast pop-punk music. Originating from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, The Exception has been around since 2005, but started as a three-piece, becoming the five-some at the end of 2008. Recently signing with local record company A1 Records, The Exception will be playing more shows around the city and is planning to release a full length album in the summer of 2009.
