Armed with a new sound and an exhaustive touring schedule Everyday Tragedy is preparing to light the world on fire with their new brand of infectious rock. Starting more then 3 years ago with band founders
vastly closer than the thousands of miles wedged between them might've suggested. The resulting collaborative affair eventually yielded songs that fuse the full-throttle foresight of The Used and Taking Back Sunday while adding a refreshing uniqueness that is a brand all their own.
"We're gearing up for something different," says vocalist Greg Tragedy. "We've done the pop rock thing and now it's time to take a step back; write some music that relives the spirit of big rock bands from the 90's while still keeping the music fresh and modern. All of our new songs tell a story, whether it is derived from life experiences or criticisms of the world we live in. We encourage our fans and friends to really listen. Make the music and lyrics personal for yourself."

The bands performance has been has been noted by several industry insiders as, "Explosive," "An absolute assault of activity and energy," and the band is showing no signs of letting up. "It seems like in today's music scene you have to be able to do back flips onstage to get anyone's attention. We just feel out our music as we play and whatever comes out naturally becomes our live show. As for the eventual goal of Everyday Tragedy, Greg says the rock act aims to make something that everyone can easily relate to and enjoy but will still offer them a vehicle for creative thinking and listening. "With our backgrounds in heavy music we got tired of watching our scenes degrade into what they are today. We decided to go into a territory completely fresh and new to us," he says. "We want to be out with the fans, showing them that music is still fun and that going to see a good show isn't a thing of the past."
