Erin Simms was born in Newport, South Wales, UK. She has been composing lyrics & music ever since she was a young girl. When Erin reached her mid-teens, she became front singer for a variety of touring bands in and around South Wales. Following 7 years of doing so, she then formed her own band teaming up with her sister, Cathy. Together they performed every week in the club circuit and also organised charity events where they raised thousands of pounds. In 1998, Erin met Paul, her soulmate. They got married in January 1999 and went on to have 3 children together. During this time, Erin has been mainly focusing on the songwriting side of things but remaining the vocalist on all of her demos. Although she has written, performed AND produced a lot of her own demos - she has teamed up with various other writers/producers for newer material. She writes with Jeff Alvey (Musician/Writer), DP Productions (MCS), Terry Silverlight (Writer of 'All that Matters' recorded by Louise - ex "Eternal"). Currently, Erin has songs placed with artists in the USA, UK, Canada, Italy and Germany.

Erin is also one half of 'The Soul Touchers' - teaming up with friend TJWAY, the ladies have written some very special songs together. There is a Soul Touchers CD available for sale at www.erinsimms.com entitled 'Angels All Around Us'. The 4 song CD was written specifially for children undergoing chemo treatment and 5% from every sale goes to the Oncology Department, CHEO Foundation, Canada.

Erin has written and performed a song dedicated to abused children called 'Miracle is Me'. It speaks from a child's point of view and has touched many people when they hear it. It is, one day, intended to release this track as a single to raise funds for the charity NSPCC - a charity close to Erin's heart and one she regularly donates to.
