“Following the footsteps of Agonyst, Soundshock now brings fellow East Anglians (and a fella from Pompey) by the name of End Soteria to your attention. Comprised of vocalist Rick, guitarists Frog and Shaun, Scotty on bass, and Nick on drums, they’ve settled on a line-up after a revolving door of guitarists, and unleashed the EP ‘II’ last year. A solid slice of modern metal, and their influences bode well for the future, with Oceansize, Mastodon, and GWAR on the part of Rick. As Nick explains: “We try not to take ourselves too seriously, but we always want to deliver the best we can. Plus the fact that we're all old farts seems to have an effect on our outlook. I mean, we're not about image or any of that bollocks.””
