Q: Where does this band name came from ?

A: "Oh, by the way, which one is Stu?" Many years back Mary and Bill Pidman had a son named Stuart. Stuart was a gifted songwriter/musician, in his early teens, his best friends and music 'buddies' came over and said.."Hey Stu, we want to start a band, we want you to be in it and we want to use your name for the band.." Stuart thought for a moment.... Then said, " I'm not going to be in a band called 'The Stu Pidman Band' I mean that's stupid man." ..(he later changed his mind.) realizing that half of his audience 'hopefully' would be female and what sensible lady wouldn't vote for, or listen to a band called The Stupid Man Band? Just a play on words... Thanks ever so much for the inquiry and the listen... Peace and Good Spirit to you all, Eric R. / EMU
