I grew up referring to music as “mookets”. I never understood why my mother had to turn the “mookets” down so she could concentrate when she was driving, until I started driving myself. I tend to put all of my attention to the music wherever I am, so if I don’t want to get hopelessly lost or drive myself off of a cliff, I also turn the music down. This is how I know where I inherited my love of music. Mom also bought me my first 3/4 nylon-string guitar at age 8 (that might have helped, too).
