Elikeh is a Washington D.C based Afropop band led by the Togolese born Massama Dogo that performs its own brand of afropop and afrofunk. The style is a combination of the 70's afrofunk and traditional rhythms from Togo. Elikeh was able to realize its artistic vision by creating original music that fuses indigenous Togoloese traditional elements with contemporary sensibilities. Departing from the trends, Elikeh carves out their own musical space.
