Bio
The name Elfion was Forged in Fire in 1984. It was derived from a book we read, titled "The Tree of Swords and Jewels." As you can see the Tolkien books were a very huge influence. That was the image we strived to uphold back in the day. Bands like Iron Maiden, Rainbow, Armored Saint, Savage Grace, Jag Panzer, and Queensryche inspired us to follow this path. We have played a number of concerts with bands like Finntroll, Testament, Overkill, and Exodus.

Elfion is a Metal band from Southern California. Influences in the 80's were bands like Iron Maiden, UFO, MSG, Queensryche, Warlord, Armored Saint, Fates Warning, Manowar, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Rush to name a few.. These bands inspired Dave and Anthony to form a band called MACE in 1982, later to be known as ELFION in 1984. For several years Elfion played at local clubs such as the Red Onion, Peppers, Spearmint Rhino, and the Marquee..
