About
Elegante Orchestra is a meeting between two minds living in the deep soul-funk atmospheres of 70's: the result is "A day with Pornocops", their first experience and album project, . Marco “beatbass” Battistini (electric bass and production) and Marco “benny” Pretolani (saxophones, flutes and arrangements), called on the recording set a circle of friends, talented musicians as Nicola Pizzinelli on drums, Luca Bonucci on piano & Fender Rhodes, Sergent. Peppe on guitar wha, Enrico Farnedi on flugelhorn and Roy Paci on powerful trumpet etc...in order to permorf the same 70's Orchestra Style. Actually, is near to be ready their first official record, a TTS 7" Collection with two tracks. Meanwhile, E.O. is working on new tracks and new arrangements for different productions.
Marco "Beatbass" Battistini
He works as a musician around european stages, with Montefiori Cocktail, the godfathers of italian easy lisyening, and in recording studio as bass player, producer-arranger for the same Montefiori projects (EMI), with Filippo Graziani, Doktor Zoil and many others...
Marco "Benny" Pretolani
Saxophone-Clarinett-Flute player from Goodfellas, band n°1 in italian swing, he worked on stage and recording set with Ray Gelato, Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo, Paolo Cevoli, Cochi e Renato and many others... Composer and arranger of Arcipelago Barnum project.
