"The album kicks off with the title track that gives a slow paced, eerie instrumental track at the forefront, which slowly drips into Whiskey Sage. If I were to give the album one word to describe it, it would easily be unique. For better or for worse, it really depends on the song. Songs range from the eccentric, but inconsistent Melanoma, to the slow paced and beautiful Saved. The album does have it’s low points though. I couldn’t get into New Orleans at all. It just felt like a lot of a little. Not much substance to be subdued in. Really though, that’s the only song I had a lot of trouble with. Our Grand Demis and Electric Eyes both pulled me right in, and Why was a great closing track to close out a very interesting album. While I wouldn’t say its perfect, this band has a lot of potential and this album showcases a lot of sounds that I would love to hear expanded. I think these guys have a chance to really create something different for the scene."
