“The music business has been falling apart because of the many untalented "Artists", the greedy promoters, and also because of the fans. Our fans illegally download or buy our music by downloading it directly from other sources like iTunes and Rhapsody. By you buying music from other sources rather than directly from the artist, the artist loses money. The fans need to understand that there is a lot of money and work involved in each song. An Artist can spend anywhere from a couple of hours to days in writing a single song. Beats can cost from $150 to $1,000. Studio sessions can cost anywhere from $40 an hour and up. Let's not forget the cost of printing the CD, promotion, flyers, etc. Independent artists are just like you…they pay rent, mortgage, buy food, and have families to support. If the money does not come from the music, these talented Artists can’t continue to make music, the music you, our fans love. Please support the Artists and buy their music directly from them”
