Androcefalo & The Bolivian Revolution / Press

“Mi'kma’ki Territory (Nova Scotia)– Jonathan Beadle, citizen of Pictou Landing First Nation was documenting the major pollution site on his traditional territory around 7:30 pm on June 9, 2014 when he discovered that the primary pipeline carrying effluent from Northern Pulp and Paper into Boat Harbour was not operating. This pipeline was built for moving the effluent created by the toxic industrial process of pulping of wood into paper to be dumped untreated into Boat Harbour. Boat Harbour is a historical fishing site for the local First Nations.”

“The state of Canada has become one of the wealthiest countries in the world by using the land and resources. Canadian mining, logging, oil and fishing companies are the most powerful in the world due to land and resources. Some of the poorest First Nations communities (such as Attawapiskat) have mines or other developments on their land but do not get a share of the profit. The taking of resources has left many lands and waters poisoned – the animals and plants are dying in many areas in Canada. We cannot live without the land and water. We have laws older than this colonial government about how to live with the land. Currently, this government is trying to pass many laws so that reserve lands can also be bought and sold by big companies to get profit from resources. They are promising to share this time…Why would these promises be different from past promises? We will be left with nothing but poisoned water, land and air.”

“Since quadraphonic sound (four-channel) record formats, became more available in the 1970's and in order to freely listen tracks like "Drink me" & "Motherlode" from our Exclusive new EP (Electric Press kit / Extended Play ) here on Reverbnation, as we're suppose to and for practical reasons not allowing frequencies of up to 50 kHz being played back through an ordinary Stereo speaker (lacking of consumer playback equipments, etc, etc) and what we're really trying to explain here is by playing Motherlode EP online, what your ears can hear is not a complete instrumental work, audibly speaking, There's more tracks missing. (Bass line, more dubbings) With Motherlode EP we are only making a very small comeback, re-experimenting older ways for multi-channel Super Audio CDs. So once again. We seriously offer apologies for NOT really "playing it Everything" 2014 All Rights Reserved”

“eL AndrocefaLo is a cultural music project spanning the last six years, which we are working to visualize as a short documentary. Mirko Lamonte is a craft musician from Peru who is pouring his soul into these songs- multi-lingual, multi-instrumental, poly-cultural, and far out in the vision of a new future for planet Earth. We have released 3 full albums and two EPs. A search for “eL Androcefalo” as well as “Mildew Sound” will find you much of our Entire work. “Since the formation of the Concept in 2003 There were no days of resting, We were much known as in the go starving Artists. Seen and named by people as well-approached prophets, Potheads, Music buddies, philosophers, College heroes & revolutionaries, but among the crowds and the chronic mobs to tell you guys a shorter story about our Incredible adventures make no sense at all anymore. We were simply devoted to a Loyal & Mysterious Friendship that still have and that always worked out professionally well in the end, fitting right no matter how hard was for the newcomer Musician & the people that witnessed the Bolivian Revolution, a Bolivian Revolution in action through these long emotional years and generating this Music together.”
