Eddy started mixing when he was 9. Making continuous music tapes, without any pauses between tracks. This progressed to the next level when he purchased two turntables and began his first primitive forms of mixing. At the age of 12 he managed to aquire a set of 1210's for his birth day and that was when he took things further and began to beat match and mix tracks seamlessly. At 13 he played a warm up set at an all day rave organised by a youth club. That inspired him so much, that he decided he wanted to be a professional Dj. So from a very early age Eddy had made up his mind about what he wanted to do in life and started to pursue his dream. When he was 14 he realised his passions for production and set off on his journey to becoming a producer. He made a 3 track e.p under the name dj reflex, which was released on dubtronix recs. At around the same age, he took another step towards becoming a professional dj. Gaining sets at small night clubs, Eddy played under the pseudo name of Dj Reflex. Eddy then took time out to aquire studio equipment and teach him self further music production, but never leaving his passion for mixing 2nd place. He has been mixing nearly everyday for over 15 years now. Being a versatile dj, Eddy plays a varied vast array of up front forward thinking music. Which caters for any crowd, be it heavy, liquid, tech, jump up, Eddy creates full on dance floor party vibes. In the time span of his d.j career Eddy has played numerous national and international bookings and has been a resident dj at The End for nights hosted by Ram Records. Eddy also hosts a weekly international prime time weekend radio show Origin fm. From 2003 to the present day, Eddy has been releasing tracks on various lables including B.C presents, Frequency ect. With a detailed back catalogue expressing many different flavours and styles. Eddy has collaborated with many artists too, also being a mix down enginner for quite a few big names in the d n b scene. But 2007 is shaping up to be a huge turning point for Eddy, as most of his previous releases have been liquid and not showing the public his darker tracks. So this year we will get to hear those tracks in force due to the introduction of SubCulture Records Uk, Eddys own lable/imprint. Eddy has many new bad boy tunes lines up for release...  The process, The Arrival and Dark Passenger to name but a few. so watch this space !!!!!
