ECHELON

Although originally a native of Toronto, the breeding ground for music was destined to be in Ottawa for this young producer. Inspired by the digital music scene prevalent in the 90's and already having a background in Trumpet, Percussion, and later on Guitar, it was time to take music from the personal level to the masses. An array of digital music produced during 1995-2000 era under the artist name 'Zarathos' permitted some low level exposure - however a thirst for more direct involvement  in the art would lead to a different path - Live music.

Guitar was just that tool. Having endeavored through various outfits and projects, one thing became apparent: people were a problem and would always be a problem - music on the other hand - simple, easy. This lead the artist back down the path of self produced music... that became the goal, the heights, the upper "echelon".

When asked about his sound, his inspiration, and what he thought made him unique to the scene, he smiled - and jokingly quoted:

"I put my pants on just like the rest of you... one leg at a time. Except, once my pants are on, I make gold records..."
