HopeMonkey, a micro-philanthropy platform that connects individuals to changemakers across India, is partnering with Blue FROG to host a 'Concert For Change' on 5th November 2013. Featured bands include : Rang, Block A Bus, Eat Shoot Leave & Clayton Hogermeer. All proceeds from the concert will go towards The Campus Bicycle Project, an organisation supported by HopeMonkey that is raising funds to buy 25 bicycles for girls in rural Maharashtra. In Mokhada village, and several villages across Maharashtra, students often have to walk a distance of 5 - 7 kilometres to get to school, leading to high drop out rates. The Campus Bicycle Project aims to shorten their journey by gifting them bicycles, therefore ensuring that children attend school regularly. In this one amazing night of Music, you can help raise 1 lakh to buy 25 bicycles for 25 girls in Mokhada, give them hope, and access to education. Tickets at Rs. 350. A 100% of ticket sales will go towards the project. And HopeMonkey's corporate partner IBIBO, will double all donations.
