About
We just do what we do because we enjoy doing it... Erm... Well...
It all started back in the early days when Pedro and I used to play at beach or garden parties. We never got together to rehearse or anything we just jammed. Other close friends will also collaborate and contribute to the noise. And people were generally impressed... Although we always had the doubt that maybe we thought it sounded so good cause most of us (if not all of us) were off our heads half of the time. Them good old days...

So when it came to that time when you are supposed to decide what it is that you want to do for the rest of your life, I chose music... Well you can imagine my mothers face when those words came out of my mouth. She always though I'd become a lawyer or a politician. She believed I had good people skills, which I guess I do get along with pretty much anyone, easy going as they say. So I had to try my second card which was film & video, but this time I counted with my Dad's support who was surprisingly a lot easier to please in this respect. So off I went... First to Madrid and then to London.

Pedro was a lot braver in getting across what his true passion was. Although having had gone to Denver to study Economics or something like that, he acquainted some fellow musicians and started a band. They sounded really good and he was the first one of our close friends to have a band. I must say that I was always a bit jealous of Pedro but just a little. Monte Perdido they called their band and two CD's were recorded. Distributed throughout our friends they became a legend. I saw them play live once in Paris. I was visiting some relatives and they were sort of "touring" or something. I remember they all lived together in this sort of studio with a sort of mezzanine. They played together, lived together and slept in the same room in which they played and lived together. I don't remember how long they lasted in Paris but I do know that the lack of intimacy was getting to Pedro in fact to all of them. So eventually they all retured to their respective homes. Pedro, after working in Marbella with his family decided to go to Barcelona and do a master in music production.

Throughout this time we would occasionally get together whenever we'd go back home to see the family. Again, playing round a fire at the beach and getting drunk on whisky and beer. It wasn't until two years ago that Pedro decided to live in London. During this time I had finished my studies and had numerous jobs in bars and restaurants, till I came across my current job, sort of by accident. You see I am a video editor at an advertising agency although I sort of blagged the editor bit... I was actually a camera trainee... But hey, I knew I could do the job and I did spend long nights at the office during the first couple of years getting my head round a few things.
To my surprise Pedro had not come to live with me for the purpose of music or not entirely at least, but to be close to his girlfriend who lives here in London. Fair enough. Although we got drunk many nights on cans of Guinness and jammed till early hours of the morning regularly, we yet hadn't recorded anything. During this... nearly a year. All we managed to do was one track. Just one... And it was composed recorded and mastered in three hours (little John's time machine). Pedro eventually got bored of London after struggling to get a decent job and went back to Marbella. My dream of becoming a rock star had vanished.
