Q: Dusty, just a quick one, "Redneck Baby" can you let me know more about how you came to write this song. As you know I like it a lot, the music is very nice, and you of coarse, jk

A: Hi - Thank you for your question and your interest in my music! I wrote most of Redneck Baby in the early 1990's for someone I was dating at the time. I never went any further with it and it ended up on the end of a tape reel, long forgotten. Then, while searching for more material to play on my 2008/09 solo tour, I dug the song up and began playing it live just to add time to my set. I was elated and shocked to find how well the song was received by so many people at my shows. In fact, it seemed to be the most popular song on that tour. So that fall, I re-worked it into it's current version and included it on my Full Circle Album. Thank you again for your interest in my music! dusty ~
