The one to watch is country rocker Dustin Wilkes, of GA.” — WALT BELCHER, TAMPA TRIBUNE “We thought (his) original song stood out above the rest ... miles apart in styles, “I Bleed Country” by Dustin Wilkes.” “I Bleed Country” is proof Dustin Wilkes is not only a singer but a successful songwriter. “If I had to pick a winner, I’d go with Dustin Wilkes ... he won the crowd over. Wilkes had an outlaw appeal and seems like the only contestant that has the chops to perform classic-sounding material.” — MATT - HTTP://WWW.THE9513.COM “Dustin is one of the best singer’s I have ever worked with. His vocal performance screams radio!” “Dustin is a great country singer with a real personality that will lift him above the crowd.” (BUCKY COVINGTON, CASTING CROWNS, SAWYER BROWN & BLACK HAWK) “He has an incredible voice and a talent to entertain. Dustin isn’t limited to one type of song, he can sing country or southern rock and make a slow song touch your soul.” dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic Contacts MANAGEMENT: Susan Keaton P. During his time serving our country as a US Marine he volunteered to package and sort toys for the Toys for Tots Foundation. After watching a child gaze longingly at the toys, Dustin sat down and wrote "One Toy at a Time". This song was used for the their nationwide campaign that ultimately raised over $350,000 for children nationally. Dustin received the US Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, the only marine in history to receive a medal for writing a song. Raised in rural Georgia and adopted by his paternal grandparents Dustin began at an early age to develop his love of music and songwriting. He would stay up all night playing his guitar and writing. His southern roots shine through his music. He has been a two-time regional finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown, country music’s largest and oldest talent contest in the world. He was a top ten finalist on USA Network’s Nashville Star, which drew 9 million viewers nationwide. Dustin has perfected the art of entertaining Country Music fans in the clubs and bars in downtown Nashville. He has a passion for not only the music but a passion to entertain. Dustin is truly country music’s up and coming artist for a modern day southern rock revival. But don’t be fooled, though Dustin can work a crowd with his hard country rock, he can turn into an instant crooner with that special slow song. Dustin is also committed to fundraising for various charities that have been special to him during his career thus far. On June 9, 2009, Dustin hosted the “The Dustin Wilkes and Friends Fight to End Endometriosis”, an annual event held during CMA Music Festival Week. Be sure to visit the website www.end-endo.com for more information on this charity. Recently, Dustin was chosen to participate in a project called Operation: Sound Off! which was created by Grammy Award winner Robert Reynolds and Producer/Arranger Scotty Huff. OSO is reaching out to talented active duty and veteran status military personnel, who have put their musical dreams on hold in order to serve their country. OSO provides the unique opportunity for these brave individuals to express themselves and tell their stories through music. They will have the opportunity to record their music in a world class recording studio with the best session musicians in the business. Dustin Wilkes is an enthusiastic entertainer, singer and songwriter that will have the crowd begging for more. dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic Set List COUNTRY Ain't Living Long Like This Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On Be My Baby Tonight Born to Boogie Change In Your Pocket Dixieland Delight Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye Driving My Life Away Every Light in the House Is On Fire On The Mountain Got a Lot of Leaving Left to Do Here's A Quarter Call Someone Who Cares Hicktown Hillbilly Shoes Honky Tonk Woman I Love A Rainy Night I Think I'll Just Sit Here and Drink Modern Day Bonnie & Clyde Old Habits Perfect Country & Western Song Put Some Drive in Your Country Redneck Girl Satin Sheets Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy She's Country Should've Been a Cowboy Stomp (Brooks & Dunn) Sweet Home Alabama Swingin Take This Job and Shove It The Ride T-R-O-U-B-L-E Where the Black Top Ends Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound Whiskey On Ice, Whiskey River Who Wouldn't Want to Be Me Whose Your Daddy ROCK Cocaine Blues Every Rose Has It's Thorns Have Mercy Last Child Midnight Rider Mustang Sally Pretty Woman Train, Train Tush Wanted, Dead or Alive BALLAD Don't Close Your Eyes Big Green Tractor Don't Think I Can't Love You Getting You Home (Black Dress Song) Only You Can Love Me This Way The Chair Why (Jason Aldean) CHRISTMAS Away In A Manager Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas I'll Be Home For Christmas O Holy Night Silent Night The Christmas Song ORIGINALS 15 Minutes Boy From Alabam Empty Handed I Bleed Country I Want to Be Somebody's Baby Rain of Rockingham Welcome Home When the Heat Wears Off Why Can't We Still Be In Love You're One of Us dustin-wilkes.com myspace.com/dustinwilkesmusic
