Brazilian based DJ & Producer DU SCHWAB's sound is highly sophisticated, irresistibly sexy and full of hidden pleasures and feeling. Schwab was influenced by his uncle's disco parties in the early of 80's. Sounds from artists such as Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Earth Wind & Fire, Sister Sledge, Chic, Marvin Gaye and bands like Depeche Mode, New Order, Simple Minds, Kraftwerk, David Bowie among others, were important to his DJ life.

Schwab has been a DJ professionally for almost 21 years and he can't imagine his life without DJing. He made his name working in the electronic music industry since he was old enough to enter a club. He is part of a select group of DJs who initiated the electronic scene in Brazil. Armed with a degree in Music Technology and having already clocked up years of experience playing the very best events in Brazil, Schwab naturally assumed the role as Brazils House Music Representative with his high-octane sets of House, Electro House and Progressive House.

It can't get unnoticed that Du Schwab is without a doubt one of the original pioneers, DJing before it was fashionable, and doing the summer circuits before the business brains realized it might be a good idea! He has played in more than 4,000 parties and gigs in Brazil and U.S.A like SKOL BEATS BRASIL 2001, PACHA, FOLSON CLUB, SKY BAR, REUNION, SCORE, NINETY9, X-IT CLUB, COSMIC SPICES, RAVE XXXPERIENCE, LEGENDS, MOOD CLUB, PINK SLEEVE, AMNESIA, MEET LOUNGE, CAT'S, BALI HAI SUMMER CLUB, MEDITERRANEAN CLUB, CARIBEAN BEACH CLUB, BALLANTINES GO PLAY, LUXURY, SO-HO, KONYS, B-SIDE, DESEO LOUNGE, TANTRA, CHROME CLUB, EON, LIQUE and so many others that would be impossible to list them all.

It was in 1993, at Legends Underground Club, that, with love and passion for e-music, SCHWAB helped to give a "true start to" the electronic scene of Curitiba, his hometown.

The Legends was a landmark in the life of SCHWAB and the music scene of the city. He was the first resident DJ of the “legendary” Rave Night Club (1996). In 1997 he was invited to command the best place in the coast, the Bali Hai Summer Club in Guaratuba Beach. He accepted the challenge to divulge electronic music in the South Brazilian coast. For a period of four years as resident DJ of the club, he concluded the mission with total success. He played in parties with set of 10 hr of duration. Today electronic music is a fever in the beaches of Brazil.

In 1999 he won the Championship of DJ's in Curitiba scoring at first place and was recognized and nominated for best DJ. Also he was the 3rd favorite DJ listed on The DJ List's website, appearing next to Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha and Paul Oakenfold.

DU Schwab has released four CDs (all then totally sold out); Bali Hai Summer Tracks Vol.I (1997), Vol.II (1998), Bali Hai Summer Sessions (2003) and Transamérica Groovy Planet (1999). Songs from this last album became smash hits for two consecutive years in the Radio Program Groovy Planet where he was a producer and resident DJ. The program transmitted for the Transamérica Radio, one of the biggest radio network of Brazil. It brought sets mix and invited DJs; John Carter (Wall of Sound), Les Rhythmes Digitales, Derick Fox, Strike Boys, Brett Dancer, Mau Mau, Marky, Rica Amaral, among others. Beyond substances on electronic music, radical fashion, sports and flashes to the parties of Brazil, U.S.A. and Europe.

He lived in Miami, Florida during the years of 2005 and 2006 dedicating all his time locked in a strategically located studio in South Beach Miami, where he developed, created and worked in innumerable new projects. Du Schwab is a visionary in the universe of the Electronic Music. However now Schwab has opted to emerge to reappear and go back to surprise all his fans with his hi-octane music and style and rock the dance floors around the world!!!

Du Schwab is defiantly a name to look out for.
