In 2004 the band started out as SEED. The group's vibe gravitated to a reggae-punk feel while carving out their niche in that California-reggae dub stylee! Soulful, raw, and groovy! Their sound has carried the band all over California to colleges, clubs, and festivals. They have crossed paths and shared stages with Pepper, Eek A Mouse, Fishbone, Bargain Music, Voodoo Glowskulls, Pato Banton, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Bert Susanka of The Ziggens, and many others. In August of '08 the group became DUB SEEDS and have been on a roll ever since. These guys are sure to bring the pain on stage and always leave a mess of people dancing and singing in their wake. So be still haters and perpetrators, Dub Seeds are on the loose!

Up from the ground , from roots and rock, comes a new flavor of dub. Formed under the sign of the lion in 2004 this band has created a sound that can be stretched under a handful of genres including progressive reggae, punk, rock, blues and ska. In a town where country, screamo and emo infest the music scene, DUB SEEDS' approach was to not conform into what mainstream music dictates. By word of mouth DUB SEEDS have landed gigs with FISHBONE, BARGAIN MUSIC, reggae legend EEK A MOUSE, 3RD ALLEY, COLLIE BUDDZ, PATO BANTON, PEPPER, THE MAD CADDIES, VOODOO GLOWSKULLS, and DIGITAL UNDERGROUND just to name a few. You'll beg for more after you dance to their funky rhythms and hard hitting grooves. DUB SEEDS provides music for the soul. Then they split your head with a little distortion. Tell the people the news... tell them that DUB SEEDS are on the loose!!
