In 2010 Darren Sonik created the band 'D-SONIK' to play slick Indie/Electro incorporating his love for that indie guitar and dance crossover.
Inspired by the young and very talented Triumph McGinn on lead vocals, from the band Hypersleeper, they set about writing, recording and promoting their new project.
Within the first 6 months of 2011 D-SONIK had gained 72,000 online fans on a mailing list and over 500,000 hits on their website.
