Bio
Drop Zone was formed in 2003 when Adam Preganz had a classic rock band that practiced just outside Charlottesville, VA. They were in the basement of a home belonging to a former US Marine, who had a huge paratrooper's canopy stretched across its ceiling. Hence the permanent name for the band's practice facilities was, is and always will be the "Parachute Lounge". Frank Crum joined in late 2003, and after stints on bass by Joey Vagus and Drew Owens, new recruit Mike Stevens helps the band soldier on into 2009 and beyond!
Drop Zone's most amazing quality is the ability to produce a wall of sound from just three instruments. Our forte is late 70's and 80's classic hard rock, like AC/DC, Guns 'N Roses and Judas Priest.
