Double THumb (aka Val Del Prete) is a singer, songwriter, producer and sound engineer in one body. With lyrics of a modern poet and haunting, sensual melodies, her music has drawn comparisons to Bjork, Bat For Lashes and Imogen Heap.
Double THumb is currently working at her debut album, to be released soon. Several tracks have already been played on BBC Radio 6, XFM and 103 FM The Eye. Live she is accompanied by Sally Rulless (cello), Francesco Fronte (keys), Ilona Opulska (bvs and ocean drum), Annie Klim (bvs and energy chime) and Ben Crawley (beatboxing). Double THumb is currently recording her debut album, which should be ready by this winter.
