“This record is a little trip through the early years of punk and noise, but without sounding like a throw back. Doomster inject enough of themselves into these tunes to give it the feel of reaching back while also reaching forward. For a self produced debut record, the sound is pretty good-the spastic freak out vocals are a little low in the mix, but I think they succeed better that way. The lead guitar and the drumming call to mind Crazy Rhythms era Feelies, but with fuzzy, noisey rhythm guitar. The 1st and 9th tracks are accordion? instrumental intro/outros, so really this album is only 7 tracks. Start with #4 and for something faster move on to #8. All of the tracks are solid, so if you like one you will like the others. Hot Tracks-4, 8, 3”
