Doomsday Machine / Press

"We are not looking for fame or fortune we just want to make a living with music" Doomsday Machine is a Technical Death Metal from Connecticut. The band is made up of Mikael Dugan on vocals, Jimmy Cohaguila on drums, Michael Gibilisco an guitar and piano, and Paul Spak on bass and chords. After listening to a couple of their tunes, which you can download for FREE by following the links to the right, I am forced to say these guys can string together some pretty heavy and melodic riffs! I urge you to venture on over to their land of metal and become a fan! They have a lot of shows coming up, so be sure to check them out when they come to your town! I had a chance to throw some questions their way, and this is what they had to sy.

“Bio: Doomsday Machine was started in 2011 by Michael Gibilisco, Jimmy Cohaguila, and Paul Spak. The goal was to have a unique mix of Brutal, Blackend, and Melodic Death Metal with crushing breakdowns along with powerful lyrics and vocal structures. Each member was carefully picked for what took about a year and a half of looking and trying out people to make. Jimmy Cohaguila, born in Peru, moved to New Haven, CT in his early twenties. After departing from a Black Metal Band he started upon moving here he soon met up with Michael Gibilisco & Paul Spak. Michael Gibilisco has been playing in local and signed acts since the age of 14 for many types of extreme metal generes. Paul Spak, a 10+ year experienced, left handed bassist, has been playing in his father’s bands since he was young in progressive/classic rock acts. It wasn’t until 2008 that Paul began seeking musicians his own age to start a modern extreme metal band”
