Don begin playing guitar in 1976 when his mom bought him an acoustic guitar from Meijer's for $35.00. He instantly began learning Kiss and Ted Nugent songs. Before graduation from high school he was playing guitar in night clubs in Grand Rapids Michigan. The rest is all down and uphill from there!
